“Sound has to do with the vibration of the spirit that is in the land.”
-JOSEPH RAEL
Flow sound baths forgo singing bowls, exploring instead a rich alternate tapestry of vibration made with synthesizers, flute, dissonance, and microtonality. Our partner DJs and musicians craft immersive, dense soundscapes that challenge perception, invite inward resonance, precipitate ego death, and implode the narratives of sound healing.

a party at the end of the world:
EARLY may, 2025
A micro-rave soundtracked by heady bass and slithering rhythms. A collective mourning and movement through "the heaviness we feel in a world that, we're told, has no future" (Milstein 2017: 7). Dance, sweat, shake and unmake, and maybe find something that resembles hope in the process.
Emily Murphy, aka Venus in Foil, is Flow’s second Philosopher-in-Residence. She is a theorist, DJ, and community organizer working at the intersection of psychoanalysis, queer theory, affect theory, crip theory, and cultural studies. For nearly a decade, she has been a key figure in Toronto’s underground dance music scene, organizing events under monikers such as SOAK, Combo Breaker, Dirt Rave, and Club XXX.
